Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark Diorama

The Indiana Jones “Raiders of the Lost Ark” ArtFX Statue is an intricately detailed diorama measuring almost 12” tall. ARTFX Theatres are pvc plastic snap-fit kits that can be easily assembled without glue or modeling skill; rendered as a hyper-detailed, three-dimensional collage, the Raiders of the Lost Ark ArtFX Statue is one of four intended dioramas based upon the existing films and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.

The Raiders of the Lost Ark diorama depicts Indiana Jones’ tumultuous flight through the booby trap-laden Peruvian temple. Carrying his characteristic bullwhip and a purloined golden idol, the dust-spattered Indiana scrabbles along a roughhewn stalagmite-rimmed pathway; immediately behind him a bulking pocked grey boulder engulfs the entire passageway, bursting explosively through tangling vine tapestries. Above the scene is a stylized depiction of the agonized-looking forbidden golden idol, poised ominously atop its chisel-etched cylindrical stone pedestal.
