The Magic 2011 Core set is the basic collection of cards which provides great play experiences for Magic players of all levels.

The set contains 249 cards. With a mixture of approx. 50% new cards and 50% previously released cards from Magic's 17 year history set the Core Set will appeal not only to new players but also to enfranchised players and collectors. The specific selection of cards makes it an ideal set for casual players and the best set to introduce new players to the amazing Multiverse of Magic the Gathering.

SPECIAL: with the Magic 2011 Core Set, the Intro Packs will contain ready to play 60-card decks! This means that these decks are not only a great ready to play introduction for new and existing players for casual play, but that they can also be used right out of the box in sanctioned Organized Play formats for which you need 60-card constructed decks, such as many of the Friday Night Magic tournaments.
